Stripe Checkout and Payment Links

FairPrice does not replace Stripe. It shows a promotion code you created, and can open a Payment Link that prefills it.

  1. In Stripe, create a coupon and a promotion code for each tier. The code text must match the FairPrice coupon exactly.
  2. Turn on promotion codes for the Checkout Session or Payment Link.
  3. For a Payment Link, set the redeem URL so Stripe prefills the code.
  4. Paste the FairPrice script on the page that sends people to Stripe.

If you build Checkout yourself, you can also pass discounts or allow_promotion_codes on the Session. FairPrice’s job ends when the visitor has the code. Set a redemption cap or an expiry on the promotion code. Someone who was shown it can still share it. Paying for the FairPrice license is a separate checkout on this site.
