Privacy

This notice describes what the operator of this FairPrice installation collects. The operator is a California LLC. If you install the banner on your site, you are the business deciding to offer a local price, and the operator processes location and analytics for you.

Accounts

Signup stores your email, a password hash, and the store name. Payment records store the method (card, USDC), the provider’s reference, the amount, and the time. The operator does not store full card numbers. Stripe stores card and stablecoin details under its own terms when you pay that way.

The banner

When a visitor loads a page with the script, their browser calls the offer endpoint. The edge reads country and network headers supplied by the host (for example Vercel or Cloudflare), and may send the IP address to an IP-intelligence provider you configure. The response is a yes or no, plus a coupon only when the banner is shown. The operator stores country code, tier, and event type for impressions, copies, and suppressed views. Raw IP addresses are not stored. A daily hash of the IP is used only to avoid counting one refresh as many impressions, and it is not reversible by the dashboard.

Cookies

The dashboard uses one httpOnly session cookie. The banner uses sessionStorage on the visitor’s browser to remember a dismissal. There is no advertising cookie and no sale of personal information.

Processors

Stripe processes card and USDC payments. An IP-intelligence provider receives a visitor IP only when that check is turned on. World Bank price levels are bundled in the software and are not a live call per visitor.

Retention and rights

Account data stays until you ask for deletion. Analytics events stay until the operator deletes them or you ask for the store to be removed. California residents can request access or deletion by emailing the address in the footer. The operator will not discriminate against you for making a request. Deleting an account removes the embed key, so the banner stops.

Children

FairPrice is a tool for software sellers. It is not directed at children under 16, and the operator does not knowingly collect their information.
